She began her international career as a mezzo-soprano in Munich, which has taken her to all the leading opera houses and the world's most renowned festivals. Now KS Prof. Brigitte Fassbaender is returning to the Isar metropolis to pass on her knowledge to the next generation of singers: For two different evenings, the sought-after singing teacher has agreed to support and challenge the young talents from the brand new opera studio at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, both vocally and in terms of interpretation, before she presents her new production of ‘Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor’ here in April.
