Chamber Concerts 2012/13

Whilst the works of Carl Maria von Weber were admired by all the "romantic" composers, Antonín Dvořák and his supporter Johannes Brahms enjoyed a close personal friendship which opened up the pathway to international recognition for Dvořák.

You can look forward to a chamber concert focussing on the theme of encouragement and emulation amongst those who are like-minded!

Johannes Brahms  Piano trio no. 3 in C minor op. 101
Antonín Dvořák  String sextet in A major op. 48

Concert-goers will be able to visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions for a reduced admission price if they show their concert ticket at the museum ticket desk.
