On 31 December 2013, the Orchestra of the State Theatre on Gärtnerplatz invites you to a celebratory New Year's Eve concert: Under the baton of chief conductor Marco Comin, the musicians will be presenting a lively programme of American concert and musical classics, from "Rhapsody in Blue" through "An American in Paris" to "West Side Story". You can also look forward to a musical rarity in the form of Aaron Copland's "El Salón México", inspired by Mexican folk music. Come and enjoy a varied, rousing concert filled with the musical spirit of the "New World"!
