Valerie Luksch

Valerie Luksch was born in Vienna. She was introduced to singing and dancing at an early age, taking lessons at the Vienna opera house and the Volksoper Wien, where she performed in numerous productions. She started to learn the piano at the age of five and was awarded first prize at the Austrian young peopleʼs music competition »Prima la Musica«. Valerie Luksch studied at the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in acting/musical theatre. During that time she appeared on stage as Little Red Riding Hood in the musical »Into the Woods« at the Deutsches Theater München. She was one of the finalists in the National Singing Competition in Berlin and in the Heinrich-Strecker-Singing-Competition at the Bühne Baden. Subsequently, she was engaged to play at the Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich and the Theatre of St. Gallen in shows such as »My Fair Lady«, »Jesus Christ Superstar« and »On the Town«. Further engagements include roles like Chava in »Fiddler on the Roof« at the Operettensommer Kufstein and Magnolia in »Show Boat« at the Bühne Baden.
