Rosamund Gilmore
Rosamund Gilmore initially studied at the Elmhurst School for Dance in Camberley, UK, and then with John Cranko in Stuttgart. Following this, she worked as a dancer in Augsburg, Kassel and Bonn. In 1979, she and the composer Franz Hummel founded the »Laokoon Dance Group«, which was one of the most successful dance theatre groups of the 1980s. From 1990, Rosamund Gilmore worked increasingly as an opera director at many well-known theatres, including those in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt and Bremen. In 1986, she directed the dance film »Blaubart«. In 2010, she produced »Messias« for the Domstufen Festival in Erfurt.
