Peter Foggitt

Peter Foggitt has been engaged at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2023. He studied in Cambridge and London. After several years as a freelance conductor, pianist and singer, he completed his doctorate and taught at the universities of Durham and Cambridge. His compositions are commissioned and performed by soloists, opera houses and choirs. He is also an accomplished improviser on the piano and organ, and when he is not making music, he is usually improvising in the kitchen.
