Nicola Simonetti

Nicola Simonetti was born in Brindisi and started his dance training at the age of five years at the Centro Studi Danza Silfide. A bursary took him to the school of the Balletto di Toscana, where he became a member of the Junior Balletto di Toscana in 2011, dancing the main roles in Fabrizio Monteverde's »Coppélia« and »La Boule de neige«, amongst others. In 2014, he moved to the »Firenze Danza« company under Davide Bombana, where he worked with choreographers such as Cayetano Soto, Marco Goecke and Alessandro Bigonzetti. In addition, he has appeared as a guest performer at the Opera House in Cairo, with Dancecyprus and with the Emox Balletto.
