Nazide Aylin
Nazide Aylin had already been dancing ballet for fourteen years and received an intensive musical training before graduating with distinction from the Conservatory of the City of Vienna in 2005 with a degree in Musical Entertainment Theatre, Operetta and Chanson. Shortly afterwards, her involvement as a finalist in the Austrian TV casting show »Musical – Die Show!« attracted national attention. This was followed by appearances in such roles as Anita in »West Side Story« at the Graz Opera, Amneris in Elton John's »Aida« at the Amstetten Musical Summer, the Beggar Woman in »Sweeney Todd« at Klagenfurt City Theatre, in the German premiere of »Sister Act« in the Hamburg Operetta House, as Eva Braun in the comedy »Gipfelkonferenz« in venues including Vienna's Theater Scala, as Heidi in »[title of show]« in Vienna's Theater Drachengasse and as Grizabella, Gumbie Cat/Jennyanydots and Jellylorum/Griddlebone in the European touring production of »Cats«.
Alongside her activities on stage, Nazide Aylin is also a tutor in singing at the Sunrise Studios Conservatory in Vienna and works on her own concert projects including a series of concerts featuring themes from James Bond films together with Maya Hakvoort and Sandra Pires.
