Natalia Kitamikado

After studying in Paris and Warsaw, the Polish-Japanese designer worked with the renowned set designer Boris Kudlička. She designed numerous operas with him from 2012-20, which were then also performed in New York, Brussels, Prague and San Francisco. After her first solo work in 2015, she designed visual spaces and costumes for opera theatres in Vienna, Krakow, Prague and Wrocław, among others. Together with Krystian Lada and Didzis Jaunzems, she won second prize in the Ring Award, the international competition for opera creators, in 2020.
