Mireia González Fernández

Mireia González Fernández comes from Spain and studied Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance at the Conservatory IT (Instituto del Teatro) de Barcelona from 2001 to 2008. In summer 2008, she completed a summer course at Ballet Prague Junior. From 2008 to 2009, she danced in the MED Ballet Junior project of the choreographer Ramón Oller and was a student at Metros Dansa. A permanent engagement took her to the Basque Dantzaz Konpainia in San Sebastián from 2009 to 2011, where she danced in works by such choreographers as Itzik Galili, Eric Gauthier and Lukas Timulak. From September 2011 to July 2012, she was engaged as a dancer at the Balletto dell’Esperia in Turin directed by Paolo Mohovich and appeared in works by choreographers including Jacopo Godani, Thierry Malandain and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano. After engagements in the dance company of the Darmstadt State Theatre and the Landestheater Linz, she made her début at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in »Candide«.
