Michael Herdemerten

Michael Herdemerten was born in Munich. At the age of 18, he won first prize in the “Jugend musiziert” competition in the brass quintet category. Shortly afterwards, he began studying trumpet with Paul Lachenmeir at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts, where he graduated with an artistic diploma. In addition to his engagement as a trumpet player in the orchestra of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, he was a member of the KlangVerwaltung orchestra under Enoch zu Guttenberg. He is also a regular guest with various orchestras such as the Bavarian State Orchestra and the Munich Radio Orchestra.
