Martina Segna

Martina Segna was born in Bolzano and studied architecture at the Graz University of Technology before completing her stage and costume design studies at the University of Art and Design Graz and the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She has been working as a freelance stage designer specialising in opera since 2004. Engagements have taken her to the Prague State Opera, the Semperoper Dresden, the National Theatre Belgrade, the Skopje Opera House, the Salzburg Easter Festival, the Opéra de Dijon, the Tyrolean Festival Erl, the Graz Opera, the Basel Theatre, the Frankfurt Opera, the Freiburg Theatre and the Prinzregententheater in Munich. She has worked with directors such as Florentine Klepper, Dirk Schmeding, Valentina Carrasco and Claus Guth.
