Marie-Dominique Ryckmanns

The singer from Munich completed her studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, was a member of the International Opera Studio Hamburg from 2020 to 2022, and was part of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel from 2023 to 2025, where she debuted as Ariel (»The Tempest«), Zerlina (»Don Giovanni«), Despina (»Così fan tutte«), and Ophelia-Double/Marx (»Die Hamletmaschine«). In the world premiere of Defekt at the Munich Biennale in 2024, she played one of four solo roles: Sierra-Sierra. She has appeared as a guest at renowned venues such as the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the Hamburg State Opera, the Nuremberg State Theatre, the Meiningen State Theatre and the Lübeck Theatre. The repertoire of the multi-award-winning soprano ranges from baroque opera and operetta to modern and contemporary music.
