Lars Zolling

Lars Zolling from Hamburg has been principal bass clarinettist in the orchestra of the Bayerisches Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2003. He received his training from Eckhard Schmidt Behrens, Kai Fischer and Prof. Reiner Wehle at the Lübeck University of Music and from Prof. Johannes Peitz at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar.

The musician was a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Foundation and winner of the Bad Segeberg Culture Prize.

After working with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, the Orchestra of the Hessian State Theater Darmstadt and the Loh Orchestra Sondershausen, he now works in Munich. He has also been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich since 2010.

Lars Zolling is a regular guest in major German orchestras.
