Juliane Kretschmer

Born in Elsterwerda in Brandenburg, Juliane Kretschmer graduated from the Hof University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and the Administration of Justice with a degree in Administrative Economics and then worked until September 2008 as an administrator in social services (SGB II) for the District of Erding and the Bavarian capital Munich. In October 2008, she joined the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where she worked as Deputy Personnel Director until 2014. From January 2015 onward, she was Personnel Director and Deputy Executive Director of the theatre, before being appointed Executive Director in April 2016.
