Judith Adam
Judith Adam was born in Cologne and began playing the violin at the age of five. After graduating from high school, she studied with Saschko Gawriloff and Harald Schoneweg at the Cologne University of Music from 1992 until she graduated in 1998. She completed postgraduate studies with Nachum Erlich at the Karlsruhe University of Music, where she graduated with distinction. Since 1998, the violinist has played as a substitute in the Gürzenich Orchestra/Cologne Philharmonic Orchestra and the WDR Radio Orchestra. This was followed by temporary contracts with the Beethovenhalle Orchestra in Bonn and the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra. Since 2002, Judith Adam has been a permanent member of the orchestra of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich in the 2nd violin section. She also performs regularly with the Munich Radio Orchestra and the KlangVerwaltung Orchestra and can be heard in the chamber music series at the Gärtnerplatztheater.
