Joshua Edelsbacher

After completing his training in Hamburg, Joshua Edelsbacher, who was born in Paderborn, appeared at the Altonaer Theater in »Sweet Charity« and at the Komödie Winterhuder Fährhaus in »Das Gespenst von Canterville«, among others, before appearing on stage for the first time at the Gärtnerplatztheater in »Jesus Christ Superstar«. After several touring productions in which he played Willard in »Footloose« and Eugene in »Grease«, among others, he appeared at the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt in »Shrek« and at the Stadttheater Langenthal (Switzerland) as Henry in »Next to Normal«. This was followed by engagements at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin in »Death in Venice« and at the Schmidts Tivoli in Hamburg in »Die Weihnachtsbäckerei«. He also played Seymour in »Little Shop of Horrors« at the First Stage Theater Hamburg, on several European tours of Nickelodeon and in »Aspects of Love« at the Theater Münster.
