Stage and costume design

Jessica Marquardt

Jessica Marquardt studied stage and costume design at the Stuttgart State Academy of Fine Arts. Whilst still a student, she designed several stage sets and costumes at the Theatre Academy in Ludwigsburg for directors such as Luk Perceval. This was followed during and after her studies by periods as an assistant on theatre and film projects in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Mainz and Stuttgart. She has regularly led art and drama courses for children and for people with a mental disability since 2009. Since 2012, she has worked as a freelance stage and costume set designer at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, the Zwingenberg Castle Festival and the Freiburg Academy of Music. As a freelance artist, she also develops exhibition concepts for museums.
