Répétiteur

Elena Sokolovskaia

Elena Sokolovskaia was born in Lugansk, Ukraine. She received her training at the Ballet Music High School for Gifted Children in Lugansk and at the Academic College of Music and Art in Syktyvkar, in the Komi Republic. During her studies, she worked as a pianist for the State Ballet School in Sykywkar and received her diploma in St. Petersburg in 1995. This was followed by an engagement as a répétiteur for the ballet company of the Sykywkar State Opera. After moving to Germany, she worked from 1998‒2005 as a répétiteur for the Leipzig Ballet under the direction of Uwe Scholz. She has lived in Munich since 2005, where she has worked as a lecturer at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding. She has been a member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz as a ballet accompanist since 2007.
