Bettina Mönch

Bettina Mönch was born in Munich and graduated with distinction from the Vienna Conservatory in musical, operetta and chanson. Engagements have taken her, among others to the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (Ulla in »The Producers«, title role in »Evita«), to Stage Entertainment (Amneris in Elton John’s »Aida«), to Mehr-BB-Entertainment (Princess Fiona in the German-language premiere of »Shrek«), to the Volksoper Wien (Gloria Mills in »Axel an der Himmelstür«, Sally Bowles in »Cabaret«, Witch in »Into the Woods«), to the Bonn Opera (title role in »Evita«, Lilly Vanessi/Katherina in »Kiss me, Kate«, Velma Kelly in »Chicago«), to the Dortmund Opera (Lucy in »Jekyll & Hyde«, Woman 2 in »Songs For A New World«) and to the Graz Opera (Miss Adelaide in »Guys and Dolls«, title role in »Evita«). Bettina Mönch is known to audiences at the Gärtnerplatztheater as Lina Lamont (»Singin’ in the Rain«), Sheila in (»Hair«), Claire de Loone (»On the Town«), Klärchen (»Im weißen Rössl«), Snake Kaa (»The Jungle Book«) and Mary Magdalene (»Jesus Christ Superstar«).
