Benjamin Oeser

Benjamin Oeser was born in Annaberg-Buchholz (Saxony) and came into contact with music and drama at a very early age. From 2009 to 2013, he studied at the Bavarian Academy for the Performing Arts, from which he graduated with distinction. During his studies, he was engaged a number of times at the Landestheater Oberpfalz, where he was involved not only in a number of drama presentations but also in various musicals, such as »Footloose«, »The Rocky Horror Show« and the first European performance of »Xanadu«. He obtained his first permanent engagement from 2013 to 2015 at the Uckermark Bühnen Schwedt. Alongside this, he also worked as a voiceover artist for radio adverts and gained initial filming experience in a number of short films.

From September 2015 to January 2017, Benjamin Oeser attended the Master's Course in Musicals at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich. Here, he appeared in such roles as Edward the Second in »King« and as Edward Bloom in the first European performance of »Big Fish«. He holds a full scholarship from the Deutscher Bühnenverein and in 2015 was a finalist in the main competition of the National Singing Competition in Berlin in the Musical/Chanson category.
