Annette Hartig

Annette Hartig was born in Kassel, where she received her first flute lessons from the local solo flutist Klaus Grünow. She completed her studies as an orchestral musician at the conservatories in Hamburg, Hanover and Stuttgart with Jean-Claude Gérard. The flautist took part in the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and was a member of the local chamber philharmonic orchestra. She gained further musical experience with the Bachcollegium Stuttgart under Helmuth Rilling. After a temporary contract at the Staatstheater Kassel, she was engaged as solo flutist at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in 1995. In addition to temporary work in other orchestras, she can be heard regularly in various chamber music series.
