Alexey Dedov

Bassbaritone Alexey Dedov was born in in Sankt-Peterburg and graduated in 2003 at St Petersburg Tcherkassova Theatre Academy as opera singer and actor.

He has as well been laureated at several Russian and international vocal contests and is winner of Vocal Arts festival named after V. Barsova and M. Maksakova in 2007.

Since 2005 Alexey Dedov works as soloist member at Helicon Opera Theatre in Moscow, where he has debuted among others the parts of Figaro (»Le nozze di Figaro«), Varlaam (»Boris Godunov«), Escamillo (»Carmen«), Kitchen woman (»The love for three oranges«), Basilio (»Il barbiere di Siviglia«), Amonasro and King of Egypt (»Aida«), Scarpia (»Tosca«), Friedrich (»Das Liebesverbot«),  Frank (»Die Fledermaus«) und Jack (»Porgy and Bess«).
