Alessandra La Bella

Italian-born Alessandra La Bella began her training at the State Choreography School in Sofia and was admitted at the age of 12 to the third grade of Rome Opera's dance school. From 2005 to 2008 she studied at the National Dance Academy of Rome and thereafter at the Royal Danish Ballet School in Copenhagen. She danced with the Royal Danish Ballet Company and throughout all of Denmark with its children's troupe. From 2009 to 2011 she continued her education under John Neumeier at the Ballet School of the Hamburg Ballet. There she also produced her first choreographies and danced with the Hamburg State Opera. In addition, in 2007 and 2008 she attended private classes with Pavlina Geleva in Sofia and in 2010 the Eighth International Ballet Master Classes in Prague. At »Premio Roma« she was twice a finalist: in 2007 in the classic dance category and in 2008 in contemporary dance. Since the 2011/2012 season she has belonged to the Ballet Ensemble of Nordhausen Theater. In the 2014/2015 season she is accompanying the Ballet Ensemble of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz on its guest tour of China in »Sleeping Beauty«.
