Leonardo Natuzzi

Leonardo Natuzzi initially completed his training with a Master’s degree at the »Niccolò Piccinni Conservatoire« in Bari under the guidance of Maestro Filippo Lattanzi, graduating with top marks, and then continued his studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Edoardo Giachino. His artistic development was further enriched by an international exchange programme at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in Switzerland.

As a versatile orchestral percussionist, he is a regular guest at leading Italian and international musical institutions. He has worked, amongst others, with the Fondazione Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, the Orchestra Sinfonica Metropolitana di Bari, the Italian Youth Orchestra (OGI) at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and the Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana, with whom he undertook an extensive concert tour of China’s most prestigious theatres and concert halls.

Thanks to his international stage experience and his training as a soloist, he combines technical precision with artistic maturity in every symphonic context and when working in the orchestra pit of an opera house.
