Diego Federico

Diego Federico, who was born in Italy, gained his first stage experience in his hometown of Bolzano, playing the lead role of Drew in »I Wanna Rock« (Waltherhaus, Bolzano). Between 2016 and 2019, he trained as a musical theatre performer at the Performing Academy in Vienna and, whilst still a student, appeared as part of the ensemble in »Jesus Christ Superstar« (Felsenbühne Staatz), as Archie in »13 – The Musical« (Theater der Jugend, Vienna) and as the understudy for d’Artagnan in »3 Musketeers«. Following his training, he took on roles as Peter Pan in »Peter Pan«, Baby John and the understudy for Tony in »West Side Story« (Theater Bonn, Seefestspiele Mörbisch, Musicalsommer Kufstein), »Cabaret« (Chemnitz Opera), Nightmare Solo 1 and understudy for Alfred in »Tanz der Vampire« (Stage Palladium Theatre, Stuttgart) and »Pretty Woman« (DACH tour). From autumn 2026, Diego Federico will also be appearing in »Moulin Rouge!« (Mehr! Theatre, Hamburg) as the understudy for Baby Doll. In addition, he has been active for many years as a choir director, songwriter and pop artist – including on tour with Mark Forster and with performances as the main act at the CSD in Nuremberg and Hamburg, as well as on the southern German club scene from Stuttgart via Munich to Vienna.
