Christian Schleinzer
Christian Schleinzer grew up in the Hochschwarzwald region. He graduated from the Stage School Hamburg with distinction. While he was still studying, he appeared at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus in »Die kleine Meerjungfrau« and then made guest appearances at various theatres in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, playing in a variety of roles in productions such as »Anything Goes« and »Singin’ in the Rain« at Graz Opera, »Les Misérables« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, »La Cage aux Folles« and »Hair« at Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen, »Cinderella«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »A Midsummer Night’s Dream«, »Sweeney Todd« and »West Side Story« at the Klagenfurt City Theatre and »Hello, Dolly!«, »Kiss me, Kate«, »The Wizard of Oz« and »Man of La Mancha« at the Volksoper in Vienna as well as »Trouble in Tahiti« at Teatro la Fenice in Venice.
At the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz he has appeared among others in »My Fair Lady«, »Candide«, »Gefährliche Liebschaften«, as story teller in »Karneval der Tiere«, as Spielzeugmacher in »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«, Toby in »Das Medium«, Henrik Egerman in »A Little Night Music«, and in the title roles of »Pumuckl«, »Oh! Oh! Amelio!« and »Der kleine Prinz«. He has been a member of the theatre’s ensemble since 2017.
