Alexander Bambach

Alexander Bambach is an actor, musical theatre performer, and filmmaker. He received his training at institutions including the Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg (Netherlands), where he completed a Master of Music degree specializing in musical theatre. He also plays the drums and guitar. At the Landestheater Linz, he appeared as an ensemble member and »roving guitarist« in the musical »Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812«. Other engagements took him to DasVinzenz in Munich, where he performed in »Auf der Greifswalder Straße«, and to the Stadttheater Landsberg for »Sarajevo – Die Toten tanzen noch«. He played the title role in the world premiere of »Siddhartha – Das Musical« (a.gon Theater). In addition to his stage work, Alexander Bambach is active as a filmmaker. Following his training at Bavaria Film GmbH, he directed several narrative and documentary productions, including »Zwischenstation« (3sat) and »CheXpedition – Verhindere einen Waldbrand« (ARD, ZDF, KiKA). He made his stage debut at the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2017 in the operetta »Die Faschingsfee«. Subsequent roles included Beppi in »Drei Männer im Schnee«, James in »Viktoria und ihr Husar«, and Bartel in »Pumuckl«.
