Alan Byland

Alan Byland comes from Liverpool in the UK and studied at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Surrey. He has performed such roles as Carnival Boy (»Carousel«) on the UK tour, Gee-Tar (»West Side Story«) at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and Fred Casely (»Chicago«) at Berlin’s Theater des Westens and the Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart. In addition, he was a member of the ensembles of »We Will Rock You« (also Assistant Dance Captain) at the Cologne Musical Dome, »Wicked« at the Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart, »Ich war noch niemals in New York« at the Metronom Theatre in Oberhausen and the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, »Ghost« (also Assistant Dance Captain) at Berlin’s Theater des Westens und Hamburg Operetta House and »Best of Musicals« tour of Germany. He has also appeared in the TV productions »Disco Mania« and »Passport to Paradise« and in the music video »Love Revolution« by Phixx. He is making his debut at the Gärtnerplatztheater in »Priscilla – Königin der Wüste«, after appearing in the same production at Theater St. Gallen.
