Andreas Goebel

After completing his musical training at the Berlin University of the Arts, Andreas Goebel appeared on stage in more than 80 musical productions, in such roles as Bernardo (»West Side Story«), Frank N. Furter (»The Rocky Horror Show«), Ché (»Evita«), Narrator (»Blutsbrüder«), Wilhelm (»The Black Rider«), Pilate (»Jesus Christ Superstar«) and Ernst Ludwig (»Cabaret«), Sir Galahad (»Spamalot«), Bill (»Mamma Mia!«) and Gerhard Lang (»Der Besuch der alten Dame«).

He has made guest appearances at the Theater des Westens in Berlin, the state theatres in Braunschweig, Oldenburg and Wiesbaden, and the Hanover Regional Theatre, at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, at the Berlin Kammerspiele, the Berlin Schlossparktheater, the Raimund Theatre in Vienna and the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg. He has been appearing as J. S. Bach in »Bach. Das Leben eines Musikers.« in Berlin since 2014.

In addition, Andreas Goebel also works as an actor in numerous TV series and films and as a drama coach. He has acted including in »Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten« and »Verbotene Liebe«, alongside Götz George in Andreas Kleinert’s prize-winning television film »Mein Vater« and played the main role of Udo Meister in the series »Ahornallee«. He also appears with Michael Mendl in the cinema film »Warum Siegfried Teitelbaum sterben musste«.

At the Gärtnerplatztheater, Andreas Goebel made a guest appearance as Baloo in »Das Dschungelbuch«, as the Captain, Junkman and Sidney in the first continental performance of »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang« and as majordomo in »Cinderella«.
