Brachial rhythms, grungy riffs and sashaying instrumental solos await you with this performance. The three choreographers, Jacopo Godani, Frédérick Gravel and Karl Alfred Schreiner, get to grips here with a rather unusual musical genre in the world of dance. The music, written especially for this production, stages the energy of a rock band, whose live performances truly »rock« the shop and visually transpose rock music’s attitude to life with the choreography. Each of the choreographers injects his unique perspective and unmistakeable style into the performance, to illustrate the highs and lows of life in the limelight. Frédérick Gravel excels with his idiosyncratic view of interpersonal relationships and powerful physique. Jacopo Godani, renowned for his unmistakeable and intensive movements, is synonymous with pure energy on the stage, and Karl Alfred Schreiner complements the triptych with a deeply emotional dimension, which reflects the inner struggles and triumphs of a legend. The fusion of powerful music and impressive choreography promises an intensive experience with these three world premieres.
