Far West

The wild west, as we know it – except this was never how it was! Inspired by spaghetti westerns and Karl May’s novels, we are taken to a world full of fantasy and clichés, the saloon with the clattering piano, a whiskey glass on top of it, loose women at the bar, gunslingers duelling under the scorching sun, gold prospectors on the endless plains, and outlaws that fight for the people. Characters such as Billy the Kid and Jesse James act according to their own morals and stand up to the rich and powerful.

Mattia Russo and Antonio De Rosa, the choreographers behind the Kor'sia Collective group of artists, create their own wild west – a universe where costumes, stage design, choreography and music blend into one symbiosis. To well-known and unknown western melodies, they let their audiences immerse themselves in a world full of thirst for adventure, longing for freedom and limitless possibilities. A dance with which every step makes the endless expanse of America tangible, while also celebrating the magic of illusion.
