Nicolò Zanotti

Nicolò Zanotti was born in Lugo, Italy, and trained at the English National Ballet School in London and the National Conservatory of Lisbon in Portugal. He attended workshops with Alexander Ekam and Marco Goecke, among others. Following his training, he danced in the companies ICK Dans Amsterdam, Biennale Danza 2023 and most recently IT Dansa in choreographies by Cayetano Soto, Ohad Naharin, Akram Khan, Emio Greco, Wayne McGregor, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and created world premières with William Forsythe (»2023, extended«), Xie Xin (»When I am facing U«), Hai-Wen Hsu (»Tenèbrès Vacillantes«) and Didy Veldma (»Not so Strictly«), among others. At the start of the 2025/2026 season, he will join the ballet ensemble at the Gärtnerplatztheater.
