Joana Henrique

Joana Henrique-Jakobs, from Portugal, trained at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg. Her most notable roles include Sarah in »Tanz der Vampire« at the Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart and the Theater des Westens in Berlin, Kim in »Show Boat« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, Consuelo in »West Side Story« at the Wuppertal Opera House, and Minnie Fay in »Hello, Dolly!« at the Theatre St. Gallen. She has also appeared in productions including »Das Wunder von Bern«, »We Will Rock You« and »Anything Goes«, and has performed at the Gärtnerplatztheater in »Hair«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »On the Town«, »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang« and »Les Misérables«. In 2026, she also created the lead role of Schlumpf in the world premiere of the musical »Kick Like a Woman« in Cologne.
