Dean Elliott

New Zealander Dean Elliott received his dance training from 2014 at Norris Dance Studios in Auckland and from 2017 at the Ev and Bow Full Time Training Centre in Sydney. He was awarded the Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prize in 2018 and was a member of the Theatre of Image in Sydney from 2018-2019. From 2019-2024 he danced as an ensemble member of the Sydney Dance Company under the artistic direction of Rafael Bonachela, where he also performed in works by Melanie Lane, Marina Mascerell, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe and Gabrielle Nankivell and premiered his own choreography »FULL IN/HALF OUT«. Dean Elliott moved to Europe and joined the ballet ensemble of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz for the 2025/2026 season.
