Daniel Schliewa

After completing his studies at the Lübeck University of Music, Daniel Schliewa joined the Theater Vorpommern, where he sang Alfredo in »la traviata«, among other roles. This was followed by guest engagements at the Hamburg State Opera and the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence. He is increasingly devoting himself to the German and Slavic repertoire, including Erik in »Der fliegende Holländer« and Max in »Der Freischütz. Further engagements took him to the Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Theater Lübeck, the Theater Bremen, the Landestheater Detmold, the Brahms Festival Lübeck, the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, the Elbphilharmonie, the Bulgaria Hall in Sofia and Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR). In 2025, he made his debut in the title role in »Hoffmanns Erzählungen« at the Theater Plauen Zwickau.
