César Lopez Castillo

Born in Spain, César López Castillo trained as a dancer at the Conservatorio Profesional Scaena Carmen Roche and the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid as well as at the École supérieure de danse de Cannes Rosella Hightower in France. From 2022 to 2023, he danced with Ballet Preljocaj in Aix-en-Provence, where he performed in choreographies by Angelin Preljocaj (»Personne n’épouse le méduses«, »Swan Lake« and »Mythologies«) and Arthur Perole (»Le Sacre du Printemps«). He then moved to IT Dansa in Barcelona, where he performed in works by Akram Khan, Cayetano Soto, Ohad Naharin, Gustavo Ramirez, Aleix Martínez and José Maldonado. He has also danced in various shows on Spanish television. From the 2025/2026 season, he is a member of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz ballet company.
