Yunju Lee

The South Korean dancer Yunju Lee received her training at the Korean National University of the Arts and the Seoul Academy of Fine Arts. She danced in the South Korean contemporary dance ensembles »LDP / Laboratory Dance Project« under Donggyu Kim and in the K’Arts Dance Company under Misuk Jeon, among others. 2021‒2022 she was a member of the ensemble of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. The winner of the »2019 Seoul International Dance Competition« and the »Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition« regularly develops her own choreographies, which have been performed on stage in South Korea and Germany. Yunju Lee has been under contract with the ballet company of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since the 2022/2023 season.
